Safety Day 2023 in Lamia Plant

Monday, June 19th 2023: As every year, this year in the framework of Safety Year we organized a Safety Day to include all locations of Nexans Hellas.

During the Safety Day, all employees gathered together and also our colleagues from Athens and Thessaloniki connected via Teams to participate in this event, which was dedicated to safety and especially on the 15 safety golden rues, on fire safety and on the use of defibrillator. The agenda began with a message from our CEO, Mr. Athanasios Gavriil, pointing out the importance of safety for ourselves, our families and the sustainability of the company, the importance of fire safety in our professional but also personal life, as well as the importance of knowing the basic steps of proper use of a defibrillator. We continued by welcoming our guest, the Commander of the Fire Department of the Prefecture that shared very specific messages on the importance of fire protection and safety, and the certified trainer on the use of defibrillator from GEP SA. Following in the agenda all employees were divided in teams and attended three workshops, one on the 15 safety golden rues, that was carried out by our Safety Engineer, one on fire safety, that was carried out by the Fire Brigade and one on the use of defibrillator, that was carried out by a certified external trainer. In parallel, we shared with the employees some videos on different topics of Safety (NAPO). After the workshops we rewarded 2 employees for their improvement
