Design

The 3-core MV cable is consisted of 3 single core cables which are laid up together with the ground conductor in triplex formation

Each single core cable is consisted of Aluminium conductor, semiconductive conductor screen,  XLPE insulation, semiconductive insulation screen with grooves, water blocking powder inside the grooves, aluminium tape for metallic screen, PVC outer sheath.

The 3 single core cables are laid up together with an aluminium lead sheathed ground conductor.

Core identification: by numbers 1, 2, 3 on the outer sheath of each single core cable
